Coconut Octopus Spirit Animal

This octopus is a very resourceful & adaptable creature. This small species use coconuts and sea shells as a home and have been observed traveling with them under their arms. Not only do they use these items for sleeping, but they also take advantage of the protective qualites that they offer from predators - crafty little things they are!

Much like the Praying Mantis, females have been known to eat their male partners during mating. So, in order to fly under the radar... a male octopus will disguise himself as a female in order to prevent being a meal. Proving once again how smart these guys are!

Painted a deep magentha with pops of teal on the tentacles. Speckles of silver and gold highlight their iridescent effect.
